This is my  favorite photo of little Logan, my sister’s little boy. I was laying on the ground with red ants underneath him while he was swinging and kicking me to get these photos, but it was well worth it. I was so happy with the way they came out. This is my absolute favorite because you can see the sheer happiness of a little boy swinging. He is just so simply joyous and excited and it’s just beautiful. Plus, I love his two front teeth sticking out, it’s just so darn cute!

This photo was taken in New Orleans, Louisiana. We were looking desperately for Bourbon St. and were completely lost. It was amazing and upsetting to see all of the damage done to that town. It still is being rebuilt, years later. Devastating. I had one of the best nights I’ve had in a very long time there, it was fun, carefree, and wild. I would love to go back there and enjoy another night on Bourbon St.

Blue Building

Another road trip picture! I honestly have no clue where this photo was taking. The beautiful blue colors and the glass with the triangular shape just completely takes my breath away every time I look at this photo. I love this building, and I really wish I knew where I took this because I would go back just to see this sight once more. If I figure it out, I will definitely let you all know so you can enjoy this wonderful sight as well!

This is another photo from our road trip, I believe this was in Houston, Texas. I may be wrong, it may have been in Austin, but we spent time in both cities and I really can’t remember. The next road trip I take, I swore I would organize my photos better and label them by state, city, and group them together. I loved this building, I just thought it was so beautiful and so big. I felt like I should share this amazing building with all of you!

This photo is also from Tennessee, I believe this was taken in Nashville as well. It was such a beautiful building, I couldn’t help but snap a photo. Also, the sweet woody out front was kind of cool! Whoever built this Church was incredibly talented!

road trip 223

This beautiful photo was taken in a cave in Kentucky. When I went on my road trip, we were passing through Kentucky on the highway and wanted to stop for lunch. Instead of being normal tourists and stopping in a real city for food we just pulled off the first exit and landed in this tiny little town with like one person and three restaurants, all closed down and boarded up. It was some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen, and it looked like a cute little town to walk around. We parked and took a walk down the street full of closed up shops and very little action. We walked by a beautiful home with a white picket fence and inside the fence was a small wedding happening. We watched them dance for a few minutes and then kept walking. We came to a museum type thing and went in to find they were giving tours of the caves in the back yard. It was the funnest and most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I have never been in a cave, or even been in an area that had caves! When we went in, everything seemed to be glowing. It got colder and colder and there was all kinds of old equipment everywhere. It was awesome. This is when we were just entering, and one of the only photos that actually came out. Obviously, there was no light in the cave and my camera just couldn’t focus on anything. I will never forget what I saw, but this is the only proof of the incredible, glowing, beauty that we had the opportunity to see.

Enjoy! 🙂

This beautiful little boy is someone very special to me. My close friend, who used to live with us in High School, is the mother of this wonderful little boy, named Logan. When I was visiting her in Texas, we walked down to the park and got some great photos of Logan swinging. I will continue posting the awesome photos I got of him and their dog. Enjoy!
